Located in a traditional hamlet, near an ornithological reserve and a few minutes from the ocean, this cottage is entirely built of wood and insulated with wood wool, hemp and cork. On the south side, a greenhouse is integrated into the building and offers an excellent source of passive solar heating. The large interior volume, composed of a seven-meter cathedral ceiling (designed for chamber music) is heated by an Alsatian stove. Based on a traditional Japanese house, all the pieces are modular. The roof is entirely covered with thatch and the lower parts of each side of the roof are green.
